The BGM PRO 177 cylinder is made of hard ceramic coated aluminum with a 63 mm bore. The coating (nickel-silicon carbide) guarantees an extremely hard and resistant jacket.
The high percentage of silicon in the piston guarantees reduced thermal expansion, high wear resistance and a decidedly considerable thermal stability.
Two 1 mm thick elastic bands reduce friction to a minimum, all to the advantage of power and speed resistance.

The cylinder channel with four main ports and two boost ports is designed to exert high pressure at low speed ranges.
With a stroke of 57 mm we have a transfer timing of 118 and an exhaust timing of 171 .

The cylinder kit is designed as a plug & play solution, easy to insert with SI carburetor and BGM Big Box Touring, the power is about 15 HP and the torque is 17-19 Nm on the rear wheel.
With further stages of enhancement, 25 HP is reached and there are no more problems.
The reduced consumption and the relative high flow are an additional bonus.

The transfer channels at the base of the cylinder have a cover which determines their correspondence with the channels on the crankcase. The cover can be easily removed to take advantage of the entire section of the ducts.

The cylinder head is made with full CNC machining. To ensure perfect centering, the combustion chamber is placed in the cylinder at a depth of 4 mm.
Furthermore, the squish adaptation is considerably facilitated and the tightness is constantly guaranteed. In the center there is a thread for mounting a temperature sensor.
