Turning SIP PERFORMANCE for Vespa, for Vespa 125 GTR / TS / 150 Sprint V / Super / PX80-200 / PE / Lusso / Cosa flywheel: 1.66 Kg in CNC, aluminum cone: 20 / 20mm, 9 reels with 12 magnets, ignition 12V ; 110 watts SIP was able to get the assistance of a major European manufacturer, VAPE, for the production of these high power systems for our beloved Vespa range. The materials, the production and the construction of SIP PERFORMANCE ignition systems are of the highest quality. The laser cut logo is a good indication of the overall clean and efficient production of the components of this kit. The electrical functions are representative of modern technology state of the art. Because of the eight coils are included on the stator plate, It is generated sufficient power to turns of acceleration to illuminate the illumination of Vespa completely. We have versions of both AC and DC, and recommend the DC type if you want to feed digital components such as the SIP speedometer or if it requires a charge of high loading of the battery. The CDI module is available as "Road" version with a static point of ignition, similar to the original item, or a "Sport" version that includes a variable ignition point that advances at low engine speeds. This increases the available torque, especially in the lower part, and the ignition timing is gradually retarded when the number of revolutions increases in the power band. This also helps to reduce the combustion temperature while providing an increase in the operating speed range. This eliminates the possibility of false placements during initial setup due to manufacturing tolerances neglected included in many Vespa motor wrappers, motor shafts, the stator plates and flywheels. The amount provided by most aftermarket ignition systems is easily exceeded by our project, without preventing the higher engine speed. The flywheel intended for the small frame Wasps weighs 1300 grams. and the largest frame in 1600 gr., making them both considerably lighter than their original counterparts. This mostly improves throttle response, but leaves the engine easily managed in city traffic and while carrying a passenger. Our SIP-VAPE flywheels are 100% compatible with the type of removal device of the original flywheel.
