Complete Variator Over range Malossi

Description

The upgrade of the Big Deps engine and the crankcase Malossi, resulted in a deficit in the transmission of this vehicle, to remedy which the great experience of the technicians Malossi has designed a complete Over Range, suitable to support constantly increasing performances.

This new system is based on the new fixed pulley of the Fixed Pulley torque corrector which has a larger diameter and absolutely avant-garde technological features. It is precisely the larger diameter of the pulley that allows to obtain a significantly higher excursion of the transmission ratio compared to the original pulley with its significantly lower external diameter.

The technicians Malossi they have taken care of the realization of this pulley down to the smallest details using special materials and a particular type of thermochemical treatment, which confers a very high resistance to wear and an equally high mechanical resistance. The new fixed pulley has been designed to guarantee perfect operation when coupled to the torque corrector Malossi (Torque Driver), which has the same diameter as itself.

To take full advantage of the range of the new torque corrector unit and the powers developed today by racing vehicles, a new toothed belt has been designed. Malossi Special Belt with increased section and updated length that ensures maximum performance in all conditions of use.

To completely renew the transmission system and take full advantage of its exceptional technical characteristics, the Multivar MHR variator has also been updated, providing it with new tracks for the rollers, a new contrast spring and a new hub longer than the previous one and for this reason able to combine with a more powerful belt and optimize ratios. This new variator is the evolution of previous generations: born from the many years of experience acquired on the racing circuits and from the Cad-Cam technology available today, it allows to obtain technical results at the highest levels.

The integral completion of the OVER RANGE system also includes the Fly Clutch clutch and the reinforced clutch bell Malossi Wing Clutch Bell 107.

Attention: after mounting the Over Range Malossi It will no longer be possible to start the vehicle with the pedal, it will be necessary to use special starting tools (not included in the kit).
