Due to their relatively long life and harsh working environment, the stator plate units on previous VESPA models are often faulty in one way or another leading to those pesky little electrical problems that add to the 'character' of your scooter. It is not necessary to accept this state of affairs! We have a large stock of OE PIAGGIO plate stator units in stock, at very agreeable prices.

Most of the stator plates for previous VESPA models, with a style point ignition system, are no longer manufactured by PIAGGIO. Bajaj, on the other hand, can offer reproductions for most old electrical models. The price is very competitive, with a quality more than adequate for the job in hand. If you still can't find the spare part for a particular VESPA model we recommend a complete stator plate rebuild or even an upgrade to an electronic ignition.

There are a huge variety of stator plates available for the VESPA PX and PK model ranges. Always pay attention to the number of electrical cables connected, the type of coils used and the various electrical components peculiar to the single VESPA model (indicators, battery, electric starter, etc.). The LML, COSA and T5 VESPA models OE plates stator assemblies produce among the 90 and 120 Watts. A noticeable increase over the original PX stator output power flat models of just 80 Watts. With an 80 Watt voltage regulator to complete the set up, all PX models can be powered to date. Throw in a full upgrade bulb and you will be lighting up the place in no time!
