VMC SILURO TOURING muffler for Vespa Small frameThe muffler has been designed and developed to be super performing while maintaining a classic and original look and sound.
It is built entirely from pressed steel sheets and assembled by welders with decades of experience in the production of 2T mufflers.
The VMC SILURO "TOURING" version has the exhaust flange diam. 28mm and slotted fixing holes that are suitable for cylinders with stud centers of 52, 56 and 60mm
The final db killer has a smaller diameter than that mounted on the Sport, specifically designed for the Touring model, but interchangeable with that of the Sport model if you want to improve performance.
It adapts very well to cylinders with a 27/28mm exhaust hole such as the new Vmc CP-58, the classic original 125s, the 130s Polini cast iron, Malossi, Quattrini M1, Dr, Pinasco and also to short stroke cylinders such as the Vmc T-56 106cc or the VMC 100 RVA lamellar to the cylinder or the various polini malossi 105cc/115cc
This muffler enhances and releases the engine's power and torque right from low revs with an over-rev that can reach over 10 rpm.
In practice, the VMC SILURO has the characteristics of an expansion muffler even though it is not.
Compared to the SILURO SPORT version, the SILURO TOURING model has a much quieter sound with performances suitable for less performing cylinders compared to the target to which the "SPORT" model is aimed with a negligible difference in performance compared to the sport version
Assembly is simple and fast, the muffler also fits on Smallframe 125cc ET3 spring frames with the side drawer.
To mount it on PK series chassis, it is necessary to cut a portion of the bulkhead inside the engine compartment where the spare wheel is connected and modify the fixing bracket on the engine cross member.
Without modifications to the chassis of the Vespa, it DOES NOT fit on Smallframe 125cc Primavera Pre 1976 frames due to the deeper side drawer.
