VMC SILURO SPORT muffler for Vespa small frame
The muffler has been designed and developed to be super performing while maintaining a classic and original look and sound.
It is built entirely from pressed steel sheets and assembled by welders with decades of experience in the production of 2T mufflers.
The VMC SILURO "SPORT" version has the discharge flange diam. 32mm and slotted fixing holes to fit cylinders with 52, 56 and 60mm stud distances
It adapts very well to high-performance cylinders such as the VMC GS cast iron series, to VMC ET6 and ET7 aluminum cylinders both 135cc and 144cc, Pinasco Zuera, Quattrini series M1 (M1 56-60, M1-60B, M1L 56-60), with cast iron cylinder EGIG 170cc, etc
This muffler enhances and releases the engine's power and torque right from low revs with an over-rev that can reach over 10 rpm.
In practice, the VMC SILURO has the characteristics of an expansion muffler even though it is not.
The sound of the SILURO SPORT model compared to an expansion is much more contained and calm especially at low revs.
Being a mechanically silenced muffler, the sound over time will be more strained than the first ignitions.
For customers who want a quieter muffler there is the VMC SILURO "TOURING" version which has a much quieter sound with slightly lower performance than the "SPORT" model
Assembly is simple and fast, the muffler also fits on Smallframe 125cc ET3 spring frames with the side drawer.
To mount it on PK series chassis, it is necessary to cut a portion of the bulkhead inside the engine compartment where the spare wheel is connected and modify the fixing bracket on the engine cross member.
DOES NOT FIT on Pre 125 Spring 1976cc Smallframe frames due to the deeper side drawer.
