Description
FA Italia front brake drum for Vespa Largeframe
Front drum for Vespa systems with 10-inch wheels and 150 mm internal braking surface. The FA Italia spare part corresponds to the Piaggio reference 78744.
Confirmed applications
- Vespa 125 GT, GTR and TS
- Vespa 150 Sprint and Sprint Veloce
- Vespa 150 GL second series
- Vespa Rally 180 and 200
Compatibility with GL concerns the second series indicated for the reference 78744. For other GL versions and for hubs similar in appearance, it is necessary to compare the track diameter, keyway, cone and rim attachment.
Security checks
Before assembly, remove any protective coating from the brake track and check the shoes, pin, key, bearings, threads, and nut security system. The drum must rotate without any tight spots or interference, and the torque must comply with the vehicle's specifications.
