Description

The BGM 200cc cylinder is a further improved version of the already reliable and powerful original cylinder. Compatible with the 200cc engines of the Rally200, PX200 and Cosa200 models, the bgm cylinder offers greater safety and performance thanks to a precise boring for a tolerance of 9/100 as well as a slightly higher compression due to the reduction of the height of about 0,7mm. The cylinder therefore results to have greater power and lower consumption than the original.
The cylinder is used with the original cylinder head and is already equipped with piston, clip, pin and cylinder base gasket. It is always possible to use the exhaust manifold of the original cylinder (screwed).

TIP: Can be used perfectly with a 60mm long stroke crankshaft by fitting a 1,5mm spacer for the cylinder head. Depending on the muffler in use, without further modifications the cylinder already reaches a power of between 13 and 14CV on the rear wheel. The opening angle for the transfer is about 120 , while for the drain it is about 170 .

Please note: it is not possible to use the cylinder on engines with electric start unless modifications have been made first as the ring gear of the flywheel rubs against the cylinder. The original Piaggio cylinders have less material, while in this case the BGM cylinder can be modified to avoid friction with the flywheel: it is therefore sufficient to bevel the affected surface by 1-2mm.
Alternatively it is also possible to remove the flywheel sprocket and use a flywheel without electric starter. With a lighter flywheel the engine becomes much more powerful (we recommend a 1,8-2,3kg flywheel).
